*Oversee the company’s IP function through direct line and/or dotted line reporting relationships with the other members of the legal team. *Work with relevant stakeholders to develop and execute an overall IP strategy, including a filing strategy to protect innovations developed by the R&D teams; establish and partner with patent committees to oversee patent strategies, ensure that the patent and trademark portfolios are regularly reviewed, and proactively identify and assess potential infringing activities. *Partner with businesses and the R&D teams to identify and where appropriate protect innovative ideas that benefit current and future product portfolios.
